The Winter Alpha for Fractured should finally start this month following a delay out of February.
The news was posted earlier in a post on the game’s site which cited a delay for the alpha out of February. The post noted that when the Fall Alpha was ending in November, they had intended the Winter Alpha to begin testing in February, last month. However, that was shifted with the Winter Alpha now set to begin in March, this month.
They noted several factors which contributed to the decision to delay the Winter Alpha. For one, there were two open weekends in addition to business news discussed which took away from development time. Additionally, the Winter Alpha was supposed to be focused on PvP. However, the team wanted to “kickstart the economy”. This led to the marketplace being developed which took one man-month of development time. Finally, city conquests look like they’re talking longer than anticipated.
